Today marks a momentous occasion – the 26th anniversary of my husband Josh’s birth. Josh is my favorite living American, and a great patriot.

The thing I love most about Josh is that he still holds true to the saying “Jamaica No Problem” which he proudly wore on his shirt as a child.

So today, as Josh and I enjoy peanut noodles and Magnolia cupcakes, please take a moment to wish this fantastic man a happy birthday.

Happy birthday Josh. I’m really glad you were born.

October 1st was my mother-in-law Kathie’s birthday. Having a few cross stitches under my belt, I felt this was a good opportunity to make a cross stitch as a gift. Besides, everything I’ve done up until now has been entirely for me.

After a little deliberation, Josh and I decided on making a cupcake—because really, who doesn’t want a cross stitch of a cupcake?

When it comes to people, there’s no one I like more than my gorgeous and talented wife, Rebecca. And when it comes to Rebecca, there’s no day thats more her birthday than August 30th. Thats right, today is the day that Rebecca and I will gorge ourselves on Magnolia cupcakes in honor of the day she was born.

Fun Fact: You’d think after being together for nearly a decade I would have realized Becca’s natural prowess with a bow and arrow. You’d think that, and you’d be wrong. Watching my wife take aim is like watching an artist lift brush to canvas—it is truly a sight to behold.

Happy Birthday, Rebecca. You’re my favorite.

Today marks the 83rd birthday of my late grandfather, Joseph Greco (although had you asked him, he would have told you that every day was his birthday—putting him at 30,315 today.) Not a single day has passed since his death where I haven’t missed him terribly.

Happy Birthday, Grandpa.
