Wall O’ Cross Stitches

Well, I have finished the wall o’ cross stitches… for now. I want to replace the diskette because now I just don’t feel like it fits anymore.

I also wanted to report that you can find a blog post about my cross stitches over at mrxstitch.com, a rockin’ embroidery and needlepoint blog.

As always, you can check out more cross stitch images over at Flickr.

DIY Hippopotadock

Last month Josh blogged about our friend Jonathan’s Brachiosaurus iPhone dock.

Josh and I both loved the idea, and so we picked up some toys of our own to make docks out of. Josh’s dock is still in progress, but he made this awesome Hippopotadock for me today. Armed with a Dremel, he created a thing of beauty and made me the iPhone dock of my dreams.

UPDATE:

The Hippopotadock was featured in a blog post at iPhone Savior. By their suggestion we took a trip down to the pond by our apartment and risked the well being of Josh’s iPhone for this shot.

Cycloptopus: The Cross Stitch!

Well, it was only a matter of time before this happened. Cycloptopus has been cross-stitchified. Last week Josh converted the beloved mascot of cycloptop.us to a pixel version. And so I did my part and cross stitched him.

The Wall o’ Cross Stitches

I got to the point where I just couldn’t fit all the cross stitches on the top of my book shelf, so it was time to give them a proper home on the wall. We hung them in our office, but there I still need to do one more to balance it out.

However, I’m currently finishing a different cross stitch, and then I’ll probably get back to these…
